The Free Zone is a perfect choice for "traditional campers" who enjoy the spontaneity and freedom of finding their ideal spot upon arrival. With unmarked places spread across various areas of the campsite, this zone offers a laid-back, flexible camping experience. Some Free Zones are designated for tents only, while others welcome all types of vehicles and tents. Since reservations are not possible in this zone, it’s an ideal option for those who prefer a more 'old school', carefree camping style.

The Standard Zone offers a variety of pitches located centrally within the campsite, between roads 5 and 14. These pitches come in different sizes and positions, providing flexibility to suit your specific needs. Whether you're traveling with a tent or any type of vehicle, you'll find the Standard Zone ideal for a comfortable stay with easy access to all campsite amenities. Upon arrival, the reception assigns you a pitch, which you can change later with the approval of the reception (subject to availability).

The Standard XL Zone is ideal for guests with larger tents and vehicles, offering extra spacious pitches to accommodate your needs. Conveniently located between roads 12 and 13 in the lower part of the campsite, the zone is also close to the newly built Sanitary Unit S6, ensuring easy access to modern facilities during your stay. Open from June 6th to September 21st, 2025, the Standard XL area is perfect for those seeking both space and convenience during their stay.

Tent camping is an escape from the busyness of our lives that takes us on adventures in the beautiful outdoors where we can disconnect from technology and reconnect with Mother Nature. The Tent River View camping pitches are located directly by the charming Sava River in the upper part of the campsite, close to the sanitary unit S1. 

Tent-Only Zone.

The Comfort Zone offers spacious pitches equipped with water, electricity and grey water discharge for added convenience. Situated in the upper part of the camp, this zone provides an ideal blend of comfort and proximity to key facilities. It’s located close to the campsite’s restaurant and the picturesque lake, ensuring easy access to both relaxation and dining. Nearby sanitary units (S1, S2, and S5) ensure cleanliness and convenience are always within reach. 

Ideal for families.

The Superior River camping pitches at Camping Šobec are set along the picturesque Sava River, offering a tranquil atmosphere for your outdoor escape. Each pitch is equipped with water and electricity hook-ups, ensuring a comfortable stay. Most pitches are easily accessible for motorhomes and caravans, making it a convenient option for all types of campers. Throughout the whole season, 40 pitches are available, while an additional 33 (pitches from 223 - 255) open from June 6th to September 21st, 2025, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy this beautiful riverside location.

The Premium River Zone, located next to the picturesque river beach of the Sava Dolinka, is ideal for guests with dogs. With easy access to the river, dogs can cool off and play in the water, while the other side of the river offers vast open fields where they can run freely off-leash. Open from June 6th to September 21st, 2025, this zone offers a mix of sunny and shady pitches to suit your preference. A sanitary unit is conveniently located just 60 meters away, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed stay.

The Premium Lake Zone offers a perfect balance of natural beauty and convenience. Located in the second, third, and fourth rows from the lake, these pitches provide a serene environment with easy access to key amenities. Just a short walk away, you'll find the central playground, ideal for families with children, and the on-site restaurant, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal after a day of outdoor activities.

Ideal for families.

The Premium Lake View Zone is the most popular area in the campsite, offering 13 pitches with direct access to the lake and a stunning view of Stol, the highest peak of the Karawanks. The zone is not only picturesque but also conveniently located near the restaurant, the central playground, and various sports facilities. Sanitary units are just a short walk away, and the pitches are easily accessible for motorhomes and caravans, making the Premium Lake View Zone the ultimate choice for an unforgettable camping experience.
